Many universities play an important role in economic development. As a former university ED center director, I have been impressed with the work of the Economic Development Institute (EDI) at Georgia Tech University over the years. So what does EDI do?

EDI offers many services with the overall goal of promoting the growth of business and economic development in Georgia. Whether the goal is attracting new companies to Georgia, expanding existing enterprises, providing technical expertise for industrial projects or helping communities plan for growth, EDI helps keep the state's economy moving forward. EDI economic development specialists help Georgia's economic and community development professionals expand their skills and keep current with new trends and technologies.
